Soon you will get to know more about these games from our editors’ perspective, with an honest and unbiased opinion about each game.
And this isn’t all: a few games received new DLCs, new content updates, and more. Let’s check what new content is available for each one:
- Saints Row: The Third Remastered, from DS Volition, Sperasoft Inc, received Xbox Series S|X upgrades, with up to 4K resolution and 60 FPS in Series S, while Series S players can choose to play in 1080p with 60 FPS or 4K and 30 FPS. And what’s even better: totally free for all current owners of the game!
- Dirt 5, from Codemasters, received a curious new pack: the Power your Memes Pack, featuring the legendary Xbox Series X fridge! This update comes as a free perk for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members, so remember to pick yours!
- The underrated Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, from nWay, Inc, received the Street Fighter Pack, containing two new characters: Ryu, Crimson Hawk Ranger, and Chun-Li, Blue Phoenix Ranger. And with this pack comes a new bundle: the Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid Super Edition, containing all the content from the original Collector’s Edition, Season One, Season Two, Season Three, and Street Fighter Pack.
- Torchlight III, from Echtra Inc, received a new Season Update that brings a new playable character: the Cursed Captain.
- From Mojang Studios / ‪Double Eleven Limited, Minecraft Dungeons received a new DLC: Hidden Depths is now available for players who want to explore a whole new location in this blocky world!
- Ark, the survival adventure from Studio Wildcard, received a new bundle containing all the previously released DLCs and improvements under the name of ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition.
- The funny platformer-ragdoll simulator Human Fall Flat, from No Brakes Games, received a new update bringing the Forest Level for all its players.
- While we were all waiting for news about its second game, Dying Light, the survival adventure from Techland, just got a new bundle by the name of Dying Light: Platinum Edition. This new package contains the base game plus all DLCs and skin bundles released for it. An excellent opportunity to visit (or revisit) the game before the new adventure hits the stores.
- Conan Exiles, the adventure game from Funcom, just received a new DLC – the Isle of Siptah– and with it comes a new bundle containing the base game and this new content. You can get the Conan Exiles – Isle of Siptah Edition on the Xbox store right now!
- This one counts as a double because Rockstar’s GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 received new tracks for their online worlds (GTA Online and Red Dead Online). Red Dead Online received eight new horse races, while GTA Online got eight new stunt races!
- Boy, I miss the good old days when I spent countless nights playing my plastic guitar on my PS2. And for those who still enjoy it, Harmonix’s Rock Band 4 just got two new great songs on the in-game store: you can now rock the hose playing Wild Thing by The Troggs and Who Do You Love? by George Thorogood and The Destroyers.

Gossip Corner
A few days ahead of E3, this week was a little calmer than the last few ones. Still, it doesn’t mean there were no interesting rumors in the media!
It’s important to remember that we have no inside info or knowledge about these projects or deals. Our only goal here is to share with our readers the most relevant rumors of the week.
- Surface Duo, Microsoft’s Android-based tablet with two screens, received an exciting update for cloud-based Xbox games running on it: the device now has controls in its second screen (for moments when you use it as a Nintendo DS) for more than 50 games available on Xbox Game Pass. An excellent addition, I must say, but still hard to justify the price for the device (at least here in Brazil, where it costs more than two Series X).
- As everybody has been talking a lot about it in these last few weeks, it won’t be a surprise if this gossip has already become a reality by the time you are reading this article. And for those who didn’t know about it yet, it looks like Forza Horizon 5 is going to be THE big name at the Microsoft E3 show this year. All rumors indicate that the game will take place in Mexico and is expected into a September window release. And now we mentioned Microsoft and E3…
- Bethesda and Microsoft will be together on stage for the greatest show of all time! Bethesda was one of the last studios to have a presentation by themselves – and I’m going to miss their show. But at the same time, I’m really looking forward to the first #XboxBethesda Showcase!
- Dragon Quest XII The Flames of Fate, the new game of the franchise, will be the first Squaresoft game based on Unreal Engine V – and I bet it’s coming to Xbox Game Pass on Day 1!
And in this vibe, we wrap up this weekend’s Weekly Recap.
Let us know what you think about this initiative and what else you would like to see here.
Have a great weekend. See you next Monday!
With a history of gaming that goes from his old man’s Atari 2600 to his Xbox One, Rafael or RAF687, our Brazilian editor, has a love for games as old as he can remember. He has already spent countless hours in many consoles (Mega Drive/Genesis, Sega Saturn, PS1, PS2 and Xbox 360) and is always ready for more (as long as his wife is asleep). Raf has been writing for LifeisXbox since 2017, with a passion for games of almost all genres – though we know he has a special place in his heart for RPGs, racing games and anything that includes pixel art. Writing about games has always been a childhood dream to Raf, dream that he has fulfilled reviewing games for you here. You can drop him a message at Twitter, Facebook or Xbox Live at any time.
