Hello everyone!
Here we are: the E3 weekend! Finally!!
But not only because of E3: we had other events these last few days, and several new games have been revealed in Summer Game Fest and Ubisoft Forward. Besides these events, we had a hectic week on socials, too, with the release of a trailer for the next installment of the Battlefield franchise.
With so many things happening this week, I’ll skip our Gossip Corner to list some of the games announced on these events. As E3 will be happening this weekend, most of the rumors we’ve been talking about in these last weeks will now be confirmed – or not. But first, the game releases of the week

A few games also received new DLCs, content updates, and special versions. Here’s all the new content available for your favorite games:

Ubisoft Forward
With an event online event on June 12, Ubisoft showed us a good amount of trailers and gameplay for their new projects and new content for games we already own. And what is best: we’ll be playing them very soon!
First, Rainbow Six Extraction finally has a launch date: Sep 16, 2021! The game brings some elements of the current title of the series, R6 Siege, but here you will be fighting an alien menace.
For all the musicians out there: there’s a new Rocksmithin the works under the name of Rockstmith+. But chill out and read it until the end. The title is more a guitar-learning digital signature than a game, ditching the use of special cables and using the microphone of your cellphone to capture the notes and evaluate your performance. As a big Guitar Hero fan who never played an actual guitar, I’ve very mixed feelings about it. Still, I think it’s a case of waiting and seeing if it’s something for me.
The exciting Riders Republic finally has a launch date: you and your friends will be riding snowboards, bikes, and more on Sep 02, 2021!
Rainbow Six Siege is getting a new operator, Thunderbird. And in 20222, the crossplay will (finally!) be available on all platforms!
For all of you who believed it to be already dead, the amazing For Honor is getting a new expansion, Mirage, in its next season update.
Trackmania will get some new physics involving water in its next update: prepare to bounce and dive your cars while doing the craziest stunts in unbelievable tracks!
Brawhalla, aka Ubisoft’s Super Smash Bross, has just received new guests: the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Play with Raph, Donie, Mich, and Leo and dominate the ring!
A Watch Dogs Legion expansion Bloodline trailer was exhibited, and a release window was announced for it: July!
Some music and news were announced for Just Dance 2022. Prepare to shake your booty to your favorite songs very soon!
The next expansion for Assassin’s Cred Valhalla, The Siege of Paris, was revealed alongside its release window: winter of 2021. As I’m too far behind on the series, I doubt I’ll be able to catch up in time for this new DLC.
This one is for the Switch owners because there’s a new Mario + Rabbids in the works: Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope will come in 2022.
And while we wait for its second movie, there’s already a new game announced: Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was announced for 2022.
Other than gaming, there was a trailer for Werewolves Within, a comedy horror film directed by Josh Ruben that will be released in June. A new trailer for Esposito’s character alongside the trailer for the crazy expansions of Far Cry 6 were exhibited.
Summer Game Fest
One day before E3, Summer Game Fest 2021 presented dozens of games with big surprises and great titles for the upcoming years. Let’s take a look at some of them:
The first game announced on the show was a Borderlands spin-off focused on Tiny Tina: Tiny Tina’s Wonderland is scheduled for the beginning of 2022.
DotEmu and SNK will join forces to bring a new Metal Slug title, but quite different from what we are used to: Metal Slug Tactics will feature the heroes of the series facing soldiers and rescuing prisoners like in the original game but in turn-based gameplay like Final Fantasy Tactics. Looks very promising!
This one came as a meme for me: Kojima Productions will release a Death Stranding Director’s Cut (wait, what!?) for PS5. No word about an Xbox version so far.
Jurassic World Evolution 2, the new version of the dinosaur park simulator, is coming in 2021 for PCs, Xbox and PlayStation.
Smiletage RPG and Amazon Game’s MMORPG Lost Ark is coming to more regions until the end of this year.
Call of Duty: Warzone season 4 is coming on Jun 17, bringing more guns, zombies, and fun to your favorite shooter.
These two left a little envy: the indies Solar Ash and Salt and Sacrifice are coming to Playstation in 2021 and 2022, respectively. Hopefully, these incredible titles will come to Xbox, too, in the future.
Saber Interactive’s Evil Dead: The Game was present with a gameplay trailer. The game will see the light of the day still in 2021.
And to wrap up the show, there was a beautiful trailer for Elden Ring, showing some of its gameplay. The game will hit stores in Jan 2022.
And in this it for this weekend’s Weekly Recap!
As always, let us know what you think about this article and what else you would like to see here.
Have a great weekend, enjoy E3 and see you next Monday!
