My entire weekend has been spent playing Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising which was released on Xbox Games Pass somewhat recently and I have to say, I have been incredibly addicted to it all week. I did manage to finish the completion this morning; thoroughly enjoyable 20+ hours and I’ll probably be playing again on Lewis’s account because I would love to play through it again. I had fun with the combat, main story, and side quests which all gave you something different to focus on. Knowing I was helping the village rebuild itself and making residents happy while embarking on my own personal adventure made it special. Plus, there is another instalment set to release next year (Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes) that I’m sure I’ll be straight on!
Most exciting news of last week: Modern Warfare 2 release date being revealed as the 28th of October 2022 with people being kept in suspense about any additional details.
Looking forward to playing this week: Z-Warp, FIFA 22, Painting VR, Zero Escape: The Nonary Games

Flying Eyeballs, exploding livers and hearts, bloody headshots. Yeah, Sniper Elite 5 time! I actually haven’t been playing the single-player much as I enjoy invading other players. I also restarted Skyrim again, still one of my favorite games. Another game I tried was Pac-Man Museum but that game is currently a nightmare, so much controller lag, no achievements and bad performance… not sure how you can fuck up such a game but they did.
Most exciting news of last week: That awesome new gameplay footage from Scorn, coming exclusively to Xbox later this year.
Looking forward to playing this week: Giving more game overs to players on Sniper Elite 5.

I finally got some time with my PS5 and played Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart on it. Gorgeous game with amazing programming in the DualSense controller. Now, this is a game we miss on the Xbox! On Xbox, I played Aerial Knight’s Never Yield for the daily achievements. Nice fun and easy game for that purpose but I see why it didn’t exactly get amazing reviews. It’s not bad, but nothing very memorable either.
Most exciting news of last week: new digital shows were announced with PlayStation’s State of Play first in line on 2nd June.
Looking forward to playing this week: After Ratchet & Clank I’ll dive back into Far Cry 6. Feels great to tackle some backlog!

On Friday I was finally able to collect all of the achievements on Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. The campaign wasn’t the difficult part, its multiplayer was. I probably spent more time grinding the multiplayer achievements than playing the actual game since its online play is basically dead. I also spent some time with Century Age of Ashes and Asphalt 9 this weekend. I think I am finally starting to get the hang of Century Age of Ashes. Instead of being the one who dies all the time, I’m managing to be the one with no deaths and a lot of kills. And Asphalt 9 is just… grinding the daily challenges and the campaign, as I’m trying to get all of the achievements on that game as well (Which requires me to unlock 30 vessels. So far, I’ve got 11). Also got my first ever Platinum trophy on PlayStation. I got the Spyro Reignited Trilogy for the PS4 a few weeks back and decided to get the achievements on there as well. (Why not? It’s my fourth copy of the game…) And besides all that, I also got some nice, new shelves to put all of my video games on, and I’m really happy with them!
Most exciting news of last week: Nothing really interesting happened when it comes to gaming news, in my opinion. However, the 4th season of Stranger Things is now streaming on Netflix, which I am really enjoying so far!
Looking forward to playing this week: I’m finally going to be completing Ganryu 2 and The Serpent Rogue, as I’m starting to feel motivated again to review some more!! I’m also going to play Asphalt 9 every day for a little bit, just so I can get those daily missions done. And if I still have some time left, I may consider starting my playthrough of Rise of the Tomb Raider!

Played some Golfie for an upcoming preview, it has some problems but it’s a pretty charismatic and fun game. Continued playing Scarlet Nexus which I’m enjoying more than I thought I would be. Also tried playing a couple of matches of Battlebit Remastered, didn’t do well and thought that 127 v 127 players was a bit chaotic at times, but was still able to enjoy playing it.
Most exciting news of last week: Didn’t think there was anything too exciting this week, but the sequel to Jedi Fallen Order was announced so if you’re into it there’s that.
Looking forward to playing this week: I want to continue playing Golfie, Scarlet Nexus and play some more Dread X Collection 5 to finish writing my review of it.
Hello, I’m Victoria. I’m from the UK and have been playing video games for as long as I can remember; back on DreamCast. I’ve pretty much fallen for Xbox since I was around eight years old and remember BioShock being my first game on the Xbox360. Although I find it thoroughly enjoyable to not only experience gameplay, I also find comfort in getting lost and engrossed in the online worlds that sometimes differ greatly from what we know. Another side of my Xbox passion would be achievement hunting and gamerscore. I thrive when I hear the little sound of one popping up on the screen and I’m always finding ways to work on my backlog when possible. Horror is my favourite genre so if you have any recommendations, don’t be afraid to send them my way!
