In Eyes on the Weekend we share what our LifeisXbox team has been playing, most of the time we have our hands full with review games. Some of those have embargo’s so we can’t always openly share what we are playing. What is interesting for us is to see what YOU have been playing! Be sure to let us know on social media! 🙂
Dae Jim | Moving heavy pieces, placing curtains and doing other work in the house… so my playtime was very limited. I was also playing the Redacted game that Robby mentions. Not with others, so just by myself and I agree that it should be played with friends. That was it, can’t always have a gaming weekend. Oh, I did finish The Flash on Netflix, waiting on the last episodes now.
Robby (BloodyGoodReviews) | Had a great weekend as I got to play games almost all of Saturday. In the morning I played a final round of Far Cry 6 DLC (Pagan: Control), you can check my review [HERE]. During the day I beat Titan Chaser, a cheap indie with a nice idea: peacefully drive away titans in to keep them from damaging towns. Slow-paced and deliberate, but doesn’t outstay its welcome. Kinda thinking about reviewing it, even though it has been out some time. Then I picked up Forza Horizon 5 again and what was initially intended as some quick races turned into an entire afternoon of checking boxes and knocking out some races. In the evening I met up with some fellow reviewers to play [REDACTED]. Can’t say much about it yet, but it’s 100% intended to be played as a co-op.
Rafael | Nothing to report this weekend.
Alexis | This weekend I finalized my game time for Battle Brothers, read the review soon! God this game is sooo fcking addicting! And started on, what in my opinion, is already one of the worst games of 2022 – Windjammers 2. Plus, a surprise rogue-lite game called Vagante! All indies baby! Yeah!!
Aaron | Nothing to report this weekend.
VicciVulpix | I spent this weekend making progress in different games. I started out by finishing Swim Out; a puzzle game that requires you to get out of swimming pools without touching other swimmers. I’m going to be brutally honest – I’m beyond relieved this game is finished as it got tedious very quickly. I also finished my final playthrough of CODE VEIN to achieve the final ending with now only the 400 medals (I have 8) to be earned in multiplayer. I’m hoping to chip away at this over time. Finally, I also returned to A Plague Tale: Innocence to finish off the remaining collectable-related achievements.
Maui | Had a shitton to do this weekend, both in review work and other work, but ended up doing nothing because it was just one of those weekends where mental health got in the way. Hopefully, the new week will bring new energy.
Michael | Nothing to report this weekend.
Orange Spark | My weekend has consisted of nothing but Monster Hunter Rise. Well, it’s been like that since it was released on Wednesday the 12th of January. I returned to Kamura, this time with glorious high-resolution textures, friends I can actually play with and a shift in the AB buttons from Nintendo’s controller layout to confuse the hell out of me. Already sitting at a comfortable 42 hours I can already say I’ll be sinking a lot of time into this again. Oh, but I guess I did find the time to play a few games of League of Legends as well. But only a couple.
Colombo | Played Microsoft Solitaire Collection while listening to music again. Played some Battlefield 2 (I never played it before this Friday) and Fistful of Frags with a friend.
Bradley Delaere | Nothing to report this weekend.
Hello, I’m Victoria. I’m from the UK and have been playing video games for as long as I can remember; back on DreamCast. I’ve pretty much fallen for Xbox since I was around eight years old and remember BioShock being my first game on the Xbox360. Although I find it thoroughly enjoyable to not only experience gameplay, I also find comfort in getting lost and engrossed in the online worlds that sometimes differ greatly from what we know. Another side of my Xbox passion would be achievement hunting and gamerscore. I thrive when I hear the little sound of one popping up on the screen and I’m always finding ways to work on my backlog when possible. Horror is my favourite genre so if you have any recommendations, don’t be afraid to send them my way!
